Does anybody know about any online community where you can upload/download amateur movies? I've been looking for this for a couple of years but I can't find any good websites.. I have this movie I'd like people to comment on but it seems hard enough just finding people sharing the same interests..

Thanks!! But I don't think they'll like the copyright protected tunes in my work.. I suppose I'm just looking for a web space provider that lets me upload 27 MB. Which is very hard to find..

    its peanuts

you could order it straight from their site but if you go through the referal in the top right of this site you will help keep the best DV website open http://www.simplydv.co.uk/

if you are using copyrighted music without permission, which is a bad move in the first place, do you think it is wise to put the film on the net?

    yeah, copyright is a b?tch.

Just bang it on your own webspace and post a link to it here. If you're looking for straight, honest opinions( beyond the usual "It s?cks!") here's the best place. I find.

i have to say it....and i know you have all heard it before...copyright is a ***** , but it stops people stealing your work!

if someone stole your screenplay, script or just plain copied your film you would probably go nuts, right?

    so why steal peoples music?.

take my advice....find a composer who will work for credit, and there are plenty around...or find a local band who want some exposure.

i always find it hard to understand why indie film makers put so much time and effort into projects only to nark it all up at the end by stealing music.
